The Arrowhead Center, as a contractor for Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) for the NMSBA program, is able to assists for-profit small businesses anywhere in the state of New Mexico to solve technical and/or business challenges. The NMSBA program at the Arrowhead Center, utilizes the unique resources available at New Mexico State University through faculty and staff to assist in a variety of technical and/or business challenges. The working team for the NMSBA projects are comprised of cross-disciplinary teams of technology entrepreneurs, appropriate technical staff, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and inter-disciplinary graduate students to help small business in the following areas: Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of product/ technology Demonstration and Validation of product/ technology Product Usability Testing of product/ technology Feasibility Demonstration of business or technical aspects The NMSBA assistance is provided at no cost to your business. The assistance provided must not be available through the private sector at a reasonable cost.In addition to the services provided through the NMSBA program, the Arrowhead Center provides a larger network of technology and business development services, including the Arrowhead Technology Incubator being able to access the Arrowhead Enterprise Advisor Network for advise, Technology Commercialization for market opportunities for innovative technologies, NMSU’s Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer, the Arrowhead Business and Research Park for business space, and Launch Program as the proof of concept program.
