ARC Professional Services, LLC is a Woman-Owned Small Business Joint Venture operating under a Small Business Administration-approved Mentor-Protégé Agreement between RC Engineering and Construction Management (RCECM) and Dade Moeller/NV5. ARC operates out of Richland, Washington, with access to over 100 offices throughout the United States operated by NV5.
ARC has the ability, capacity, and experience necessary to effectively manage high-hazard and radiological facility operations and large environmental safety and health projects. We offer a single-contractor solution, providing efficient, cost-effective performance that few other small businesses can.
ARC offers extensive depth in developing, assessing, and implementing occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and performance quality programs. Our occupational safety and industrial hygiene experts can address all issues that are critical to construction and operation, and we are an industry leader in analyzing and addressing the safe management of nuclear and radioactive materials. We understand the issues critical to safe operations and we apply our expertise across all phases of every project to ensure worker safety and regulatory compliance while enhancing organizational productivity. We emphasize worker participation throughout each project, which promotes job-site confidence, enhances employee efficiency, and dramatically improves quality performance at every level.
ARC brings expertise in analyzing and addressing the safe management of nuclear and radioactive materials. We have extensive technical and applied knowledge in all aspects of Health Physics, including medical and laboratory facility licensing and operations; fundamental and advanced health physics; decommissioning; Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSSIM) and Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Assessment of Materials and Equipment (MARSAME); environmental monitoring; air sampling; health physics instrumentation; internal dosimetry (both medical and occupational dose experts); radiation dose assessment; and radioactive waste. In addition to our Certified Industrial Hygienists, Certified Safety Professionals, and Professional Engineers, we have on staff over 20 Certified Health Physicists (CHPs).
ARC members operate the Training Academy that has been recognized as one of the foremost providers in the education and training of radiological and occupational safety topics, providing both online and onsite training platforms. Over the past 20 years, we have: trained more than 3,000 RSOs and thousands of radiation workers; maintained dedicated training facilities and labs; and maintained a dedicated, full time registrar. In the past seven years, we have provided over 92 Client on-site trainings, many of which were customized to meet client needs. Our instructors are recognized Subject Matter Experts who are training and practicing professionals with expertise in radiation safety, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, risk communication, transportation, and instrumentation.
ARC provides laboratory and data quality auditing capabilities to assure conformance with federal, state, and industry standards and industry approved analytical methods. Our team includes analytical chemists, biologists, environmental engineers, analytical quality assurance/quality control specialists, regulatory specialists, and highly trained, certified laboratory assessors. Our work is based on well-recognized standards and organizing bodies, such as the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program Quality System, Department of Energy Consolidated Audit Program, TNI, and ISO 17025 accrediting bodies.
