The Inaugural Triad Subcontractor Forum being held on August 8th from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Buffalo Thunder Resort in Santa Fe will allow any interested subcontractor to learn more about the growth in forecasted work and to engage with senior leadership on the relationship that Los Alamos National Laboratory is committed to build with its portfolio of construction subcontractors. Attendees will interact and network with Los Alamos personnel that are engaged in construction and maintenance subcontractor work. The forum will also provide an opportunity for the subcontractor community to attend specific workshops designed to help the subcontractors understand how to bid work at LANL and what the expectations are from a commercial, safety, security, and quality perspective. Also included at the forum will be panel discussions centered around the future work pipeline, new initiatives to improve the subcontracting process, subcontracting strategy, safety and security, and many other topics related to subcontractor engagement. Senior leadership will focus on community engagement and teaming for success of the LANL mission. Sessions will also be focused on receiving input from subcontractors on what Los Alamos can do to make it easier to get work done while upholding the standards of Los Alamos and our NNSA partners. As many as 50 vendors / exhibitors that provide materials and services for subcontractors will also be on hand to network and display their latest / greatest materials and equipment.
