ETEBA TN invites you to join us for our monthly membership meeting on November 1st from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Knoxville-West.
Environmental cleanup across the DOE Complex is a challenging and complex mission that often requires advanced environmental capabilities and technologies, and Oak Ridge is no exception. At the next Eastern Chapter membership On Thursday, November 1st, Elizabeth Phillips, Program Manager for OREM, and Kent Fortenberry, UCOR’s Technical & Nuclear Services Manager, will talk about the technology gaps and needs in the Oak Ridge cleanup program in a presentation entitled “Technology Needs, Challenges, and Potential Opportunities”. Additionally, ETEBA Executive Director Tim Griffin will give a brief overview of ETEBA’s recent input to the National Academy of Science’s congressionally mandated assessment of technology development and deployment in the environmental management program.
This program offers a unique opportunity to hear about the technology needs of the Oak Ridge cleanup program, and to participate in a discussion of the identification of candidate technologies for testing and deployment. If you have a capability or technology that you believe could have a positive impact on the Oak Ridge cleanup program, you will not want to miss this program.
Cost to attend is $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers.
