The Energy, Technology and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) is very pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 4th Annual New Mexico Federal Business Opportunities Forum on March 31, 2021. The Forum will be virtual with the same format we used at last June’s virtual event hosted by Lunchpool. Michael Wade (Springs Advanced Technology Group, LLC) and Lauren Amos (Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc.) will once again serve as its hosts, and we have a great group of speakers lined up for this virtual meeting, so we encourage all our members to participate.
This annual Forum will offer over a half day of panel sessions featuring procurement specialists representing several major federal facilities in the southwestern US, including Greg Gonzales (National Nuclear Security Administration – Albuquerque), Randy Crawford (Pantex – Amarillo, TX), Ryan Williamson (Waste Isolation Pilot Plant – Carlsbad), Julie Baer and Denise Herrera (N3B – Los Alamos), Susan Stein (Triad – Los Alamos), Chris Fresquez (Triad – Los Alamos), Stephanie Parra (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers), and Eric Lochausen (Sandia National Laboratories – Albuquerque). We will also hear again from Josh Baca of the Small Business Administration. We have also invited Thom Mason (Director of Los Alamos National Laboratory) and newly elected Senator Ben Ray Lujan, who both spoke at our Forum last June, and newly elected Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez (New Mexico’s 3rd Congressional District).
Federal agencies, particularly DOE and DOD, have seen notable increases in their annual operating budgets in recent years, and these increases translate to more opportunities for the subcontracting community. Attendees will hear presentations that are focused on upcoming procurement opportunities at these various facilities, and they will have the opportunity to network directly with the speakers and buyers from these facilities between panel sessions and lunch and immediately following the panel sessions. While the virtual world is not the same thing as in person meetings where we can interact and mingle in person, we at ETEBA are confident that our New Mexico Virtual Forum will again offer great value to our members and continue to keep us all connected until we can meet again in person at our Annual Forum in Albuquerque in 2022!
The cost for registration is $50 for ETEBA members and $75 for nonmembers; sponsorships are $500 (Gold) and $1,000 (Platinum). The full agenda for this event will be posted soon on ETEBA’s website at www.eteba.org.
We look forward to seeing you on March 31st!!!
