ETEBA invites you to join us for our monthly membership meeting on March 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. This will be a virtual event. Our guest speaker for the event will be Lucia Cape – Senior VP of Economic Development & Workforce for the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber. The title of her presentation will be “The Sky Is Not the Limit® — The Huntsville Metro Economy.”

This will be a 30,000-foot level introduction to the federal market sector of Huntsville/Madison County, Alabama; one of the largest Federal-Government contracting centers in the U.S.  The NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, a longtime participant in ETEBA events and residing at the Redstone Arsenal, has encouraged ETEBA to broaden our reach within the local community.  Key local federal agencies whose contracting needs align to some degree to those of ETEBA members, beyond NASA, includes: the Army Materiel Command (AMC), the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), the Army Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM), the Space & Missile Defense Command (SMDC), the Army Contracting Command (ACC) and the US Army Corps of Engineers – Huntsville District. Total annual budgets managed equal more than $50 billion/year.

Recently (January 13, 2021) the Redstone Arsenal was announced as the future location of U.S. Space Command’s headquarters while an earlier decision (2019) led to the significant relocation and investing to bring the FBI to Redstone Arsenal.

Many ETEBA members are already plugged into the Huntsville/Madison County market, some with major/prime contracts.  This will be an opportunity for others to consider expanding their reach into new areas to define opportunities to bid, win and execute.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required. Registration is available at
